Origins Missions Base
i had to fight so hard for this, but i fought from victory - not for it - and Jesus ruled. i first-hand experienced Truth manifesting in my worldly reality because He promises to fulfill all of His promises. i witnessed Jesus override my circumstance with His glory, and for the first time i didn’t settle with what i saw with my natural eyes because He said He had something so much better. i watched Jesus elevate my experience to the level of His reality instead of being ok with mine and bringing down the Truth to the level of my experience or the lack thereof. Truth bore fruit in my life where God turned impossibilities into actuality. had a glimpse of how abraham would have felt when he lifted up isaac as a sacrifice trusting in God’s promise to make his descendents as numerous as the stars, believing in restoration and in the power of resurrection. i’m embarrassed to even compare with abraham but i realize, all it took for one man to become the father of faith was really…faith itself. he was credited as righteous because he was faithful. and he had the same kind of faith that Christ enabled all of US to have as christians. i have his inheritance on top of His inheritance. Jesus taught me what it means to respond in the opposite spirit, to hold onto His promises and witness them come alive, to be loved by and to love my biological family, and to keep pressing on…for a time of rest with Him, for His intimacy and presence, to see Him face-to-face. i feel like i’m rewinding my first 20 years of christian life to start all over again. He’s taking me down to the very basics, to the core of His heart, the foundation of my being and identity. intimacy is where it starts and i’m being stripped until i’m naked in front of Him, with a glowing gem inside of my heart - a reflection of His glory.
Jesus, You’re crazy. You are flowing over with crazy and good ideas and crazy and good plans and crazy good ideas and plans and You work them out. You’ve been working from the time i was born, from the time i was in my mother’s womb, from the time You conceived me in Your thoughts and i became Your reality. i am Your very thought, a manifestation of Your contemplation and pondering. Your thought of me inspired Your hands to move. You took time to sculpt me by the detail and You spent time to think me through. so i’m choosing to spend time with You for all of eternity starting now.
it’s going to be so good. it’s going to be so powerful. anybody reading this, you can set aside everything for 10 months for a direct pursuit of Jesus, too. it’s going to be a time of being hungry for more of Him while being full of Him at the same time.
Come away with me, come away.
It’s never too late, it’s never too late,

Origins Missions Base- UCSD
I wanted to take some time to describe the Origins Missions Base at UCSD. The whole idea was supernatural and downloaded from God. We had not originally planned anything like the Base, but it became crystal clear that He had.
In the timeline of my life I have participated in internships, led them, and observed from afar others internships. These certainly have their place, but it always felt like something was missing. Many internships gather around goals and objectives “first” and then relationships are formed around the goals and objectives instead of each other. With that template, everything becomes task-oriented instead of relationally-oriented. I could go on, but I digress.
The Origins Base is really something different. I am not saying this to state we have some “hip” model. No, this is really something that is in the white space of the map. We have traversed into places that are not familiar and certainly not traditional. There are no roads to follow nor street signs. We have just listened to Holy Spirit and tried to follow Him wherever He leads.
Describing the Base can be a difficult task. Sometimes when I am describing it to someone for the first time I feel as though I am speaking Chinese (to someone who doesn’t speak it). So, I am going to do my best to describe it.
Origins Base is built around 5 pillars- Spiritual Family, the Supernatural, Identity, Spiritual Fathering and Mothering, and Starting Faith Communities. These 5 pillars are central to the DNA of the culture. Each Base participant reads 2-4 books a month that flow into 1 of the pillars. The reading list is amazing…seriously, some of the best stuff out there. A lot of the growth of participants is in the midst of living out spiritual family. Communities also gather around goals and objectives first, but spiritual families gather around each other first. Love is the commodity. It’s an atmosphere where you can fail and succeed. It’s a culture of confrontation where you cannot remain the same nor continue to think the same. Renewing the mind is a core activity where alignment with truth establishes waves of freedom. Walking out in the confidence as a powerful son/daughter is the most beautiful thing to watch unfold.
Participants learn about all that has been given through the finished work of Jesus. Walking out in the supernatural becomes natural. Seeing the sick healed, prophesying, and seeing the power of God demonstrated becomes normal. All the while living among a spiritual family that’s safe and grace-filled. It’s a place where spiritual fathering/mothering help participants safely dream, take risks and connect with the God-head, especially Father God. You’ll also be a part of a powerful campus ministry called Origins at UCSD (www.origins.cc).
There’s so much I could write about the Base. The 6 that recently finished 10 months couldn’t be more different. Each of them has had dramatic transformations and powerful breakthrough’s. It was a strong confirmation for us that we are on the right track.
Consider being a part of this Missions Base. It could be something that changes the trajectory of your life. This may be the thing that aligns you into the truth to walk as a confident son/daughter of the Father. I truly believe some of you reading this the Holy Spirit is talking to you right now. Listen. Obey. Buck the fear and take the step of risk. Where He calls you, He provides. There’s NO lack in His Kingdom.

Healing Goodies
Last night I spoke at the 423 School of Transformation at Vista Assembly. The topic was faith. At the end I opened up the opportunity to pray for the sick. It was quite amazing.
The first woman who came up recently became a Christian. She was Jewish and saved just a couple of weeks ago. Her chronic pain throughout her body has been constant for quite some time. I asked her about unforgiveness and she had some towards her brother. She forgave, then I commanded the spirit of infirmity to release its hold. She bent over limp and then the demon manifested and left. Later, one of the staff came over and said she has metal pins in her back and it’s IMPOSSIBLE for her to bend over like that. Well, I’d say the pins have dissolved. Hello Jesus.
A man with Parkison’s disease came up and after being prayed for fell out in Spirit and got up walking around and looked very different. His eyes looked way different. Believing for a complete healing!
A woman came up with chronic back pain. One leg was shorter than the other so we prayed and the leg grew, her hips aligned and all back pain instantly left.
Two shoulders were instantly healed along with an elbow.
It was an incredible night watching the Kingdom being demonstrated. Never gets old. Jesus is amazing.

Tick Tock
Time is a great commodity. Many say, “time is money”. God created time for US because He doesn’t live in the constraints of time. He is the One who WAS, IS, and IS TO COME, which means He lives outside of time.
Since God created time for us we can have dominion OVER time. We are to have dominion over creation (except each other) and this includes time. For us to say, “I never have enough time” or “I wish I had more time” is to function in a poverty mentality. Poverty doesn’t simply apply to finances or material possessions. It also applies to time. If we don’t believe there’s enough time, then yes, there won’t be. But, there’s MORE than enough time.
Satan knows his TIME is short. He is bound by time. The tick tock is clanging in his head constantly. Thus, he expends his energies convincing believers to become busy. Toil is one of the main strategies of the devil. We are no threat to darkness when we are busy (burdered under satan’s yoke).
We are not a slave to time, satan is. Satan cannot be patient because it’s a fruit of the Spirit. So, when we wait on God, he becomes rage-filled because we will receive strength and eagles wings (perspective). Time works for us. Begin to declare throughout your day, “I have MORE than enough time today to accomplish ALL that God has called me to”. Each day there’s a fresh 24 hours to work with. Imagine time as a wind behind you pushing you into your day where all that’s before you is within your reach. If we are operating in a poverty mentality, that wind becomes a gale force rushing against us.
Time is our friend that works for us so that His power within us can accomplish more than we dare to ask or dream.
