Long Time…
Wow, I haven’t written a blog in like 492 years…give or take 491. Life has been incredibly busy. Having a new baby boy establishes an erratic sleep schedule. But, he is worth all the sleep depravity.
Saw two people healed this morning at a church I spoke at called Narratives Church in El Cajon, CA. One was healed of a twisted spine. As we prayed she said, “I feel like I am getting taller”. All her pain was completely gone. Then another guy had pain in his L4 and L5 and scheduled for surgery in January. All of his pain left. Hello Jesus.
I have been pondering many things lately. Some of what I have been chewing on is how God starts with the end and establishes it and then goes to the beginning. Ephesians 2:10 says that not only are we His masterpieces, but we have been created in Jesus to do good works that have ALREADY been established. We don’t have to make things happen for God. He has made it. It’s about us partnering with what He has created. That revelation should take a big load off the shoulders. That we don’t have to live life under the pressure to make something happen for God. We simply listen and watch. What is the Father doing and what is He saying. That seems to be what someone else did…yes, the Son of God. That worked pretty good for him…and others. If we are feeling the “weight” of ministry or pressure to “get” people saved, then we are carrying the wrong yoke. Jesus’ is light and easy. So, if it’s not light and easy…it’s not Him. You may need to hear that again…if it’s not LIGHT and EASY, then it’s NOT Him.
Drop the load. Pick up His yoke.
