Corona Kingdomstrations

Tuesday night I spoke at a youth/young adult ministry out of South Hills Church in Corona, CA called Remnant. The entire church has been in month long series on miracles and I was called to close out the series for Remnant. I had some expectations going into it because it sounded like there wasn’t a whole lot of miracles happening in a normative way church wide. But, it sounded like the youth and young adults were hungry, which is a great place for miracles to be released.

That night there were around 250 youth/young adults. I spoke about how miracles, signs, and wonders are supposed to be a normative part of our lives as followers of Jesus and that Jesus never expected anyone to believe in a powerless gospel. In fact, for any follower of Jesus to not walk in power is inexcusable in light of everything He has given us.

At the end I had anyone with asthma stand up and about 10 stood up. I prayed while those near laid hands on them. I asked if anyone was feeling anything. It was funny, because up to this point I could feel the skepticism in the air. One person said “there’s heat on my lungs and I can breathe without difficulty”. That one miracle unlocked the room. One person was healed of asthma and he didn’t even stand up to receive prayer. No one touched him and Jesus said hello and healed him. Others started saying that they could breath without difficulty. At least 7 were healed of asthma. Then I had anyone with scoliosis stand up. About 4 stood and two of them were healed. One guy said his whole back was hot and he could bend and twist without any pain.

God was moving and then He said to me, “call them up to encounter me”. So, my expectation was that I would call people up to encounter God and maybe 1/3 or even 1/2 would respond. Well, I was very wrong. Out of the 250, 230 responded. It was overwhelming and I could tell the leaders of Remnant were quite amazed themselves. Before we pressed in I asked if anyone wanted to start a relationship with Jesus and I instructed them to just raise their hands right then and there without anyone closing their eyes. At least 10 raised their hands! We prayed for Jesus to forgive and come on in. Then I said to the whole group to just be a sponge and receive from God and ask Him to encounter you.

I think I prayed for at least 175 of them myself that night. God was pouring out His love and power on many of them. It was beautiful. Many times God’s presence in these times comes in like sets of waves when surfing. I sensed a new set coming in and God showed up. God started delivering people from nightmares and torment. It was powerful to see.

At the very end a group was waiting to receive prayer and one girl in particular came up and she seemed very “unchurched”, which was quite refreshing. She told me about her chronic knee and back pain that she’s had for 8 years. She had multiple surgeries and therapy sessions without any improvement and the doctors said there was nothing they could do. Well, Jesus is a pretty good doctor. As she was talking to me God downloaded “she needs to forgive”. So, I asked if she needed to forgive anyone. She smiled and said, “yes”. She forgave, we prayed and then her knees were super hot. She was in chronic pain because of her unforgiveness. She did a squat to test them out and she started tripping out, I mean, really tripping out. No pain and no knees popping. Then she bent over and touched her toes without pain and started tripping out even more. She left and the next day the youth pastor let me know she was an atheist…well, WAS an atheist.

God is moving so much all around the world right now. We are on the cusp of something so huge, so epic. I have never seen the hunger and desperation that I am seeing in so many places for more of Him. I am excited to see what God is going to do this Spring quarter at UCSD. So thankful for what He has done up this point, but I know there’s so much more!

Believing for salvations to be released all across the campus. In fact, I am violently contending in the Spirit for that. I am thankful for all the healings we are seeing, but I want to see souls set free as well.
